Welcome to BoostLabs. These Terms of Service apply when you access our website, purchase products from us, or otherwise interact with BoostLabs online.
By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before purchasing.
1. About BoostLabs
BoostLabs supplies automotive lighting products and accessories, including underglow kits, motorcycle lighting kits, RGB badges, interior lighting, starlight kits, garage lighting and related accessories.
Our products are designed for enthusiasts who want high-quality automotive lighting with a clean, modern look. Some products may be intended for show, off-road, private property, display or decorative use only depending on your location and the way they are installed or operated.
2. Eligibility to purchase
By placing an order with BoostLabs, you confirm that:
-
you are at least 18 years old, or you have permission from a parent or guardian;
-
the information you provide is accurate and complete;
-
you are purchasing for lawful personal, business, show, display or automotive use; and
-
you will not use our products in a way that breaches road rules, safety laws or other applicable regulations.
3. Product information
We do our best to make sure all product descriptions, images, specifications, compatibility notes and pricing are accurate. However, colours, brightness, animations, product packaging and app interfaces may appear differently depending on your screen, phone, vehicle, installation, power supply, environment and camera settings.
Product images and videos are for demonstration purposes only. Final appearance may vary depending on vehicle shape, mounting location, surface condition, ground clearance, ambient light and installation quality.
Where a product includes third-party software, apps, controllers or integrations, the availability and behaviour of those third-party services may change over time and may be outside our control.
4. Vehicle compatibility
Unless a product is expressly listed as vehicle-specific, our products are generally universal or semi-universal automotive accessories. It is your responsibility to check that a product is suitable for your vehicle, intended installation location and intended use before ordering.
We may provide general guidance, but you are responsible for confirming:
-
available mounting space;
-
wiring path and clearance;
-
power requirements;
-
water and heat exposure;
-
legal use in your state, territory or country;
-
whether professional installation is required; and
-
whether installation may affect your vehicle warranty, insurance, registration or roadworthiness.
If you are unsure, we recommend consulting a qualified auto electrician, installer or relevant authority before purchasing or installing a product.
5. Road use, safety and legal compliance
Automotive lighting laws vary between states, territories and countries. Some colours, flashing modes, animation effects or external lighting placements may be restricted or illegal for road use.
You agree that you are responsible for ensuring that any BoostLabs product is installed and used legally and safely in your location.
You must not use our products in a way that:
-
impersonates or resembles emergency, police, government or service vehicles;
-
distracts other road users;
-
breaches vehicle lighting, modification or road safety laws;
-
creates an unsafe electrical or mechanical condition;
-
interferes with vehicle operation; or
-
causes damage, injury or unlawful behaviour.
BoostLabs is not responsible for fines, defects, registration issues, insurance issues, vehicle damage, injury or other consequences arising from unlawful, unsafe or improper installation or use.
6. Orders and acceptance
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products. We may accept or reject an order at our discretion, including where:
-
a product is unavailable;
-
pricing or stock information is incorrect;
-
payment is declined or reversed;
-
we suspect fraud or misuse;
-
shipping details are incomplete or invalid; or
-
the order cannot reasonably be fulfilled.
An order is not accepted until we confirm it or dispatch the product.
If we cannot fulfil an order after payment has been received, we will contact you and provide a refund or suitable alternative where appropriate.
7. Pricing and payment
All prices are shown in Australian dollars unless stated otherwise.
Prices may change without notice. The price payable is the price displayed at checkout when your order is placed, subject to correction of obvious errors.
You agree to pay all product prices, shipping fees, taxes and other charges shown at checkout.
We may use third-party payment processors. By making payment, you may also be subject to the terms and privacy policies of the relevant payment provider.
8. Promotions, discount codes and bundles
Discount codes, promotions and bundle offers may be subject to additional conditions, expiry dates, minimum spend amounts, product exclusions or usage limits.
Unless stated otherwise, discount codes cannot be combined, exchanged for cash, applied retrospectively or used on shipping fees.
We may cancel or modify promotions at any time, except where doing so would affect an order we have already accepted.
9. Shipping and delivery
We ship to the locations shown at checkout. Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to carrier delays, stock availability, weather, customs, public holidays or other events outside our control.
You are responsible for providing accurate shipping details. We are not responsible for delays, failed delivery or loss caused by incorrect or incomplete address information supplied by you.
Risk in the products passes to you when the products are delivered to your nominated address, collection point or otherwise marked as delivered by the carrier, except to the extent this is inconsistent with your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
If your parcel is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us as soon as possible so we can help investigate with the carrier.
10. Pre-orders and backorders
Some products may be offered as pre-orders or backorders. Any estimated arrival or dispatch date is an estimate only and may change.
If a delay occurs, we will do our best to keep you updated. If we cannot supply the product within a reasonable time, you may be entitled to cancel the order and receive a refund.
11. Installation
Unless expressly stated otherwise, BoostLabs products are supplied as parts or kits for installation by you or your chosen installer.
Installation must be carried out safely and in accordance with product instructions, vehicle requirements and applicable laws. We recommend professional installation for any product that involves vehicle wiring, relays, fuses, controllers, cutting, drilling, permanent mounting or connection to a vehicle electrical system.
You are responsible for ensuring that installation does not damage your vehicle, compromise safety systems, create electrical faults, void warranties, breach insurance requirements or make the vehicle unroadworthy.
BoostLabs is not responsible for issues caused by incorrect installation, unsuitable mounting, poor wiring, inadequate power supply, improper sealing, modification, physical damage, misuse, neglect or unauthorised repair.
12. Product care and use
To get the best performance and lifespan from your products, you should:
-
follow all included instructions;
-
avoid crushing, cutting, sharply bending or pulling LED strips and wiring;
-
mount products away from excessive heat, moving parts and road debris where possible;
-
ensure wiring is fused and secured appropriately;
-
regularly inspect mounting points, wiring and connectors;
-
avoid pressure washing directly into connectors, controllers or damaged seals;
-
disconnect power before working on wiring; and
-
stop using a product immediately if it appears damaged, overheated, loose or unsafe.
Failure to follow reasonable product care and installation practices may affect warranty assessment, except where this would be inconsistent with your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
13. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded, restricted or modified.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. If a product has a major problem, you may be entitled to reject the product and choose a refund or replacement, or keep the product and receive compensation for the reduction in value. If the problem is not major, we may choose to repair the product within a reasonable time or provide another remedy required by law.
Any warranty, return policy or support we provide is in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
14. Returns for change of mind
We may accept change-of-mind returns at our discretion, provided that:
-
you contact us within 30 days of delivery;
-
the product is unused, uninstalled and in original condition;
-
all packaging, accessories, manuals and parts are included;
-
the product is not a custom, special-order or clearance item unless we agree otherwise; and
-
you pay return shipping unless we agree otherwise.
Change-of-mind returns are not available for products that have been installed, modified, damaged, used, cut, wired, programmed, paired, scratched or otherwise no longer able to be resold as new.
This change-of-mind policy does not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law for faulty, unsafe, misdescribed or non-compliant products.
15. Faulty products and warranty claims
If you believe a product is faulty, defective, damaged, unsafe or not as described, please contact us with:
-
your order number;
-
a description of the issue;
-
photos or videos showing the issue;
-
photos of the installation where relevant;
-
details of any troubleshooting already performed; and
-
any other information reasonably required to assess the claim.
We may ask you to perform basic troubleshooting, return the product for inspection, or provide additional information.
If the product is found to have a fault covered by Australian Consumer Law or any applicable BoostLabs warranty, we will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement, refund or another remedy required by law.
Warranty or support may not apply where the issue is caused by:
-
incorrect installation;
-
misuse, abuse or neglect;
-
physical damage;
-
vehicle electrical faults;
-
incorrect voltage or polarity;
-
water ingress caused by damage, poor sealing or incorrect installation;
-
cutting, modifying or repairing the product without approval;
-
using incompatible controllers, power supplies, apps or accessories;
-
exposure to excessive heat, impact, chemicals or road debris;
-
normal wear and tear; or
-
use outside the product’s intended purpose.
Where a returned product is inspected and no fault is found, or the issue is not covered, we may ask you to pay return shipping or inspection costs where permitted by law.
16. Custom products and special orders
Custom, special-order, made-to-order or modified products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
This does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law if the product is faulty, unsafe, not as described, not fit for a disclosed purpose, or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee.
17. Product support
We may provide general support, installation tips, wiring guidance, app guidance or troubleshooting assistance. Any support is general information only and may not account for your specific vehicle, tools, skill level, installation conditions or local laws.
You remain responsible for safely installing and using the product. Where electrical work is involved, we recommend using a qualified auto electrician or professional installer.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, our website or our products is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant product or service.
